Wesley Day School

Established in 1966, Wesley Day School is a Christ-centered, happy, loving, nurturing and creative place for children to grow and learn.

Here at Wesley Day School, we are passionate about nurturing the whole child—academically, emotionally, and spiritually. We strive to create a safe, joyful, and faith-filled environment where students and families feel supported and known.

Wesley Day School operates during the regular academic school year (August – May) and has many of the same holidays as our local public and private schools. Children attend class Monday-Thursday from 9 am – 1:45 pm. Each child is required to bring their lunch, snack, backpack, and any additional materials deemed necessary per age group.

Currently, our Extended Care programs run Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Starting with the 2026-2027 Academic School Year, our Extended Care programs will be offered from 7:30am-5pm and are available for an extra fee.

Each child is required to bring their lunch, snack, backpack, and any additional materials deemed necessary per age group.

Programs Available

  • School Hours: 9-1:45 pm

Jumpstart Program (Jumpstart 1 and Jumpstart 2)

12 months – 36 months by September 1st of the current school year, and the child must be walking.

Through ABC Jesus Loves Me curriculum and teacher-initiated resources, children are lovingly introduced to what may be their first school experience and will have time for learning, playing, lunch, and rest. Children will discover art, story time, indoor/outdoor recreation, music, the Bible, Chapel, and more.

Pre-K Program (Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4)

36 months and older (3yrs-5yrs) by September 1st of the current school year

All Pre-K students must be potty trained and able to manipulate clothing in bathrooms with limited assistance.

In our Pre-K classes, independence and the ability to learn through discovery are major goals for each child. Play is a major vehicle for learning. Since children learn by doing, many opportunities are given through unit activities and our ABC Jesus Loves Me curriculum.  Pre-K students are also exposed to Chapel,  Art History, Spanish, and Science.

Extended Care Programs

Extended Care Programs are available to all Jumpstart and Pre-K students for an additional fee. All families who take advantage of the Fun Club program will get the Early Bird Program for FREE!

Other Small Groups

Wesley’s Small Groups provide a place for people to belong so they can become who God has called them to be. Going from “rows” on Sunday morning to “circles” during the week helps us create relationships, allows us the opportunity to “do life” together and move from where we are to where God wants us to be. Small Groups are comprised of men and women from all generations who meet throughout the week. They are a place for those who desire to grow, ask questions, and be encouraged when life gets tough. More than just a group of friends, our groups exist to demonstrate and share the love of Jesus by serving our community.

Our groups create new relationships through shared passions, including Bible study topics, common interest groups, men’s, women’s, children’s, and outreach. Contact the church office for more information or join us at the next scheduled meeting! All are welcome.

Caregivers meet Third Monday of the month at 4:30pm – Parlor classroom.

Grief and Loss Support meets First Tuesday of the month at 4:30pm – Parlor classroom.

Heart Sisters-Ladies Bible Study

Ladies Book Club

Methodist Men

1st Mondays @ 6:30am
Other Mondays @ 8:00am (in the Parlor)

Methodist Men are engaged in a variety of mission work with the church and meet on the first Monday of each month at 6:30am with breakfast served at 7. We try to help wherever we can with all of the church ministries.

We meet the other Mondays at 8am in the Parlor for coffee. We are always looking for new members, so feel free to show up to a breakfast or coffee meeting to join. All ages of adult men are welcome.

Seeds for Needs Garden

Every Tuesday @ 8:00am

Some of the food we grow:  Spring & Summer: tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, peas, melons, corn, okra and peppers. Fall & Winter: broccoli, carrots, cabbage, mustard, turnips, lettuce, beets, spinach and strawberries.  Growing all year:  Blackberries, Blueberries, Satsumas and Grapefruit and Figs. In the past we distributed our crops to Nutrition Services for Seniors. Their “Meals On Wheels” program distributed our fresh produce to more than 500 home bound seniors.  Now we partner with Market to Hope and gift all of our produce to them.

We need more hands, more dollars, more supplies and, of course, ongoing daily prayer for the people we serve and the people who work in this ministry. 

We work in the garden every Tuesday morning at 8am. Call or text Tony and come meet us there!
