Everyone has a place to serve. Whether you have a few hours a month or want to get involved every week, there's a place for your unique gifts at Wesley. Join the team and discover the joy of making a difference in the life of our church and community.

Come as you are.

It is our prayer that we can be a place where people come week after week to be inspired and challenged in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose at Wesley is to seek the lost people in our area and bring them to Christ as well as sending our
members out to grow the kingdom of God.

Our Story

Established in 1912, Wesley Methodist Church has been a part of the Beaumont area for over 100 years. Our spot on Major Drive and Folsom is the 3rd Beaumont area location Wesley has called home over the years. With the rest of Beaumont, Wesley has seen hurricanes, watched the area change and grow, and helped thousands of people become disciples who serve Jesus Christ.

Going to church for the first time can be a weird experience. Believe us, we’ve all been there. To help you with your visit, here are some things to know.

Jesus came to give us a joy-filled life, and His example reminds us that serving others is a key part. We make it easy to jump in and get started.

Whether it’s a one-time gift or recurring donation, every contribution matters and is deeply appreciated. Thank you for partnering with us in making a positive impact and working to seek the lost and send the saved.

Today's Reading

Starting in January, we are going to read the entire Old Testament together in 2025. It will have about one chapter each day and there will be days for you to rest and catch up with your readings for the week as well.

Sermons will be based on some of daily readings from the week before and we hope and pray everyone will participate in some way. We will be using the NRSV translation of the Bible.

Join Us

Whether you’re new to faith, returning to church, or simply searching for a community to call home, we’d love to welcome you to Wesley. Here, you’ll find a place to grow, serve, and build meaningful relationships rooted in Christ’s love. There’s a spot for you—we can’t wait to meet you!

Serve

Jesus came to give us a joy-filled life, and His example reminds us that serving others is a key part. From rocking babies and mowing grass to leading teams and brewing coffee, every person has gifts to share and resources to give to help build God’s church. We make it easy to jump in and get started.

Other Small Groups

Wesley’s Small Groups provide a place for people to belong so they can become who God has called them to be. Going from “rows” on Sunday morning to “circles” during the week helps us create relationships, allows us the opportunity to “do life” together and move from where we are to where God wants us to be. Small Groups are comprised of men and women from all generations who meet throughout the week. They are a place for those who desire to grow, ask questions, and be encouraged when life gets tough. More than just a group of friends, our groups exist to demonstrate and share the love of Jesus by serving our community.

Our groups create new relationships through shared passions, including Bible study topics, common interest groups, men’s, women’s, children’s, and outreach. Contact the church office for more information or join us at the next scheduled meeting! All are welcome.

Seeds for Needs Garden

Every Tuesday @ 8:00am

Some of the food we grow:  Spring & Summer: tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, peas, melons, corn, okra and peppers. Fall & Winter: broccoli, carrots, cabbage, mustard, turnips, lettuce, beets, spinach and strawberries.  Growing all year:  Blackberries, Blueberries, Satsumas and Grapefruit and Figs. In the past we distributed our crops to Nutrition Services for Seniors. Their “Meals On Wheels” program distributed our fresh produce to more than 500 home bound seniors.  Now we partner with Market to Hope and gift all of our produce to them.

We need more hands, more dollars, more supplies and, of course, ongoing daily prayer for the people we serve and the people who work in this ministry.

We work in the garden every Tuesday morning at 8am. Call or text Tony and come meet us there!
